Anstro
The Company sells its products to friction manufacturers that in turn incorporate the component into the final product, which are sold to both the OEM and aftermarket segments. For example, as seen in the charts below, the division's primary customers, Dana, Federal Mogul, and Morse, incorporate Anstro's products into their own braking systems that are sold under branded labels, such as Raybestos, Wagner, Bendix, and Friction Master. The customers are primarily multinational, industrial companies, which represent the largest percentage of the brake components market. They directly serve the Tier 1 OEM market, the OES market, and the aftermarket channel.
- International Brake Industries, Inc. ("IBI")
IBI's customer base consists primarily of manufacturers (Dana, Honeywell), rebuilders (Cardone, ACE), and retailers (Midas) who either utilize the Company's products as components of the larger brake system or private label the product for sale in the aftermarket. Similar to Anstro, IBI's customers look to the Company to enable them to be first to market with aftermarket products. The Company's ability to meet these demands is evidenced by the long-term relationships it maintains with nearly each of its top customers.
- Pylon
Pylon's customer base consists of mass merchandisers/auto part retailers and automotive dealers. Within these two categories, the Company has aligned itself and enjoys solid relationships with some of the industry's leading parts providers. Wal-Mart, a customer for 24 years, represents 10% of total Qualitor sales and 50% of the wiper division sales. Pylon supplies 50% of Wal-Mart's wiper sales (sole source on two of three product lines) and manages the entire product category for Wal-Mart. Additionally, the Company supplies 100% of Target's wiper assortment and is the sole-source provider of wiper blades to Chrysler and rubber inserts to Toyota. Customers value the Company's product breadth (e.g. good/better/best product line) and its ability to manufacture produce in short runs to satisfy variable product demand by retailers. Within the Chrysler relationship, Pylon is recognized as a "Value Line" which all Chrysler dealers are required to stock. Toyota has recognized Pylon as one of its top five suppliers and awarded it a Total Quality Assessment Award for two consecutive years.
- BLD - Engine Controls
Significant customer consolidation in the industry has left four major engine controls customers, Standard Motor Parts (SMP), Dana, Honeywell, and Wells, which represent 60% of the division's total sales. As the table below illustrates, the Company has long-term relationships with each of these customers.
Within the top four customers referenced above, the Company provides multiple components and, in most cases, is the sole supplier of those components. The chart below summarizes the Company's top four relationships.
- Sloan - Heavy Duty
The Company sells into several markets, including OEM Truck & Trailer, OE Service Truck & Trailer, National Accounts and Warehouse Distributors.
